I'm getting error messages when trying to upload - Wrong format

I'm trying to upload JPEGS and have been doing so with sucess until about fifteen minutes ago - now all of a sudden I can't.

I'm getting the impression recently that every time I try and do something on my site there is a problem.

edit - And now I can't get in at all - 503 Service Unavailable :bash

edit 2 -back up again but a few uploads still not showing up yet

    I was getting the 503 last night around 9'ish pm eastern...so I went to bed. I saw a posting from Andy about the 503 error and when I went ot reply to it, it wouldn't take my reply and said something about the thread not existing or having been moved. So maybe the post was removed as I was trying to reply. Who knows. Everything seems fine for me right now.

    I'm having problems again - extremely slow uploads and just now 'Sorry You Don't have Permission to Edit that Photo' when I tried to delete it. The biggest problem is that I don't have any confidence that what I am trying to do at any given moment is going to work and it's becoming increasingly frustrating.
