Took these the first week I got my new E-300 dual lense kit. Never took these kind of photos before so bare with me.
Some Mauna Loa volcano, not much up there but lava, lots and lots of lava
A few from a small boat ramp at Laupahoehoe point, east side of the Big Island.
And one from a small local park.
Thanks for looking, comments welcome. Lots to learn
Weather station at about 10,000 feet, last sign of life.
Looking across a new flow (about 20yo) toward Mauna Kea
Last signs of plant life
Pilings/surf break or something, I don't know. Protecting a small boat ramp to the right
A look up the coast from the ramp area.
And one from a small local park (Hilo)

Keep up the shooting , you'll have lots of fun.........Mereimage
The lava shots are difficult..... dark-ish foregrounds and not much to see in the background (sky)....
I invariably get the horizon tilted, in spite of the help-lines in my camera, but redress them before posting.
Keep on shooting.. practice makes perfect !!

You may want to invest in a Circular Polarizer filter. It will take your landscape photos to a new level.
