Common wasp Queens or Drones ?

Shot series of large common wasp Queens or drones ? attracted to a camelia busg with sugar/honey spray. The wasp in #4 was actually doing a tiny bit of bubble blowing. The inevitable happened in #6 where a wasp walked onto my thumb from all the leaf holding I was doing.

WOW these are so neat.I also would of freaked if it crawled on me lol,4 and 5 I really like.

WD as you'll gather I have no problem with insects- now large slugs are another thing!

slugs are icky. when it rains hard they fall out of the trees and onto the road making running more of an obstacle course. nothing like the feeling of mashing one flat. (shudder!)
