    Hi there,

    Not only is it a thought provoking photo but a very good one in my opinion as well. The angle and the graniness of this photo lend a gloomy atmosphere for this photo. My eye bounces back and forth from the lone image in the front at the barbed gates to the images stacked up like logs on the floor. A difficult scene and a strong memorial.

    Thank you for sharing with us this serious and important image.

    well done, i was there and got nearly the same shot - what you did in post was excellent - that's where folks can learn a lesson here - a simple touch of added grain makes this photo really good.

    Thank you for the comments.

    I don't usually do much more than a levels adjust and sharpening. I added a
    bit of noise--about 10% gaussian.
