    Thanks Ben, I was only about 30 feet away. I think this particular Red Tail is night blind because it barely even looked at me. I saw it about a 1/4 mile down river an sat and watched it until it took off into the woods closer to me. Then I tracked it down and got super close. It was really dark out though, I was surprised how well these came out. You'll notice they were taken at ISO 1600 Exposure -1.33 and -2 and I still only got 1/25th and 1/40th. Thank you IS.
