Not sure if these are really landscape shots.
I made a trip to the National Cemetery in Minnesota.
The number of grave is staggering.

The sad part about these pics is that they cover a very small part of the cemetery.

I'm from the Minneapolis area and know what you mean about the large number of grave sites. When you fly out of the MSP airport you truly get an idea of the mass number of sites.
How did you shoot the 3rd shot? It is amazing!! Is this a Photoshop technique.

the right pic. I took the picture with the EV at -2 stops. I knew the white
markers would still be OK, and I was hoping for the the grass to turn black.
In Elements 2, I did change it to B&W, upped the contrast while lowering
the brightness. Then I over-sharpened the pic, because when you do that,
a lot of the time it gives you a white halo around the edges. For this pic,
that flaw works as the markers in the back of the pic were getting dark, and
harder to see. Then I just painted out unwanted light spots,
