last dance at machine falls

Fall has come and just about gone. Leaf season was anti-climatic, started to turn and then fell with no real peak. However, today was nice and wet from last night's rain so the dog and I went for a walk. Fall was showing it's last holdings at Short Springs. Here is Machine Falls from this afternoon.

    The leaves have been anticlimactic here too :-/

    I like the second shot a lot. I'd personally crop the top part out though. That rock really takes a place as a focal point and the first set of falls behind it do a great job creating depth but then it feels like something is missing in between. Same idea for the last one... Hmm...

    Very pretty set of pics did you sit for a spell and just breath in the air and let youre mind wonder,these pics make me want to do that.:)
