I went to this spot every morning for a week hoping for some great sunrise light and finally got it the last morning I was there. The show lasted just a couple of minutes, here at the Court of the Patriarchs shot from the banks of the Virgin River. Canon 5D II, 16-35, two shot hand blend in PS. Thanks for looking!

Bangin' pic. Nice long exposure for the water. Nice elements in the fore/middle/background. Awesome freakin' fall colors. Where is this? (I've never heard of the virgin river or the court of patriarchs).

Thanks for all the nice comments. It was not a hand held shot--Gitzo tripod, Arca swiss ballhead, one exposure of 13 seconds f/11 ISO 320 for the foreground and a second exposure of 2 seconds for the background. I hand blended the two in PS.

Thanks everyone for the comments, it did turn out to be one of my favorites from the week trip. The irony is that we were checking the weather and satellite the night before and it looked like nothing but rain and bad weather, so the other two that were in my group slept in that morning. I'm glad I got up and went out there 'just in case.'

Take the path across the road from the parking lot, but keep going straight instead of veering right to the viewpoint. Keep walking till you are at the river and you are there!
