We were over the family's house the other day and the lighting was just perfect

We decided to take a few shots out back and the foliage made for a killer background. We used the Canon 100-400 L, the Canon135mm f/2 L for these, and all natural light

1. Canon 40D, Canon 135mm f/2 L @ f/2, 1/640sec, ISO 200

2. 5d Mark II, 100-400 L @ 310mm, f/6.3, 1/400sec, ISO 500

3. 5d Mark II, 100-400 L @ 400mm, f/5.6, 1/320sec, ISO 500

4. 5d Mark II, 100-400 L @ 320mm, f/5.6, 1/250sec, ISO 500

I don't usually comment on little kid pictures....but I really like the effect you created here with the short depth of field.
These are nice, warm them up just a smidge and you are in business.
Very well done. The last one is my favorite.

Thank you very much for your comments. Your the second persone that suggested I warm them up a tad. I will certianly do that before print!! Thanks again for the feedback and good eye

I love the vantage point. Draws one right into her world. You really took advantage of the simplicity of the natural, colorful setting. No cutsie cliches here!
