I prefer #2 of the set for the simple reason you are drawn to the orange vest and that sets the context for the rest of the image for me. Also love how the one light is just off center of the subjects head. Nice backlighting!

I like the first one: Makes me want to yell, "Stop, thief!"

Second is well composed/taken. Like the orange vest to draw the eye along with the matching lights with the one framing his head.

Thanks Scott and rainbow. These two came out just the way I wanted them to, which doesn't happen all that often for me at night. Whether that makes them good pics is another matter .
