You've definitely got a budding photographer there.

The first is really funny. Just great that you were taking into the mirror and got the fingers.

I love the look of #2 - very retro feel.

Sign of mellowing out... would never have tolerated it with your kids.mwink.gif

Love them. #1 is certainly a "decisive moment" illustration. Perfect with the out of focus hand.

What's the story on the photo behind you in the shot?

You are most definitely not the first one to say that :D, and what's weird is it never even occurred to me until someone pointed it out - despite years of watching George Carlin. rolleyes1.gif

You're absolutely right - I would have gone ballistic with my kids. Not something I'm proud of, but...

The photo in the background was taken by my daughter and son's best friend Sean Keenan and my daughter's roommate - nothing more, just roommate - who is a terrific photographer and has shot allot in Vietnam and Cambodia. I believe that is from Vietnam. He shoots film, various formats, and I guess the best way to describe him is as an art photographer.

    Yup!! And it's great!! :D

Isn't there a saying to the effect that grandchildren are nature's reward for our having had children? (I don't have that quite right, but the gist is there.)

If I'd known how great grandkids were gonna be, I'da had them first.

oh, and duh! I just figured out, the coolest thing about that first shot is the fact that the hand that is superimposed across the image is the baby's!

I just joined this site recently, and had to post a reply.....First....awesome shots......especially the first! The baby should get half the copyright!:D Secondly, I've always been a little protective of my cameras as well......till the granddaughter came along.....I will put Live View on and let her look through it and try to press the shutter.....

Finally, my favorite Grandparent Quote: "Grandchildren are our reward for not killing our kids when they were teenagers"

I hope Santa put some lens cleaner in your stocking this year. That first shot is priceless.
