Did my first baby shoot yesterday and thought I would share a few! We had a great time and the baby was so peaceful! His comfort relaxed me! Lots more to come, Im doing my cousins newborn Saturday.

You did great! You were very prepared, and I am happy the baby was so easy to work with.

My monitor maybe off kilter but here are a few nits on the pp mostly...#1 wow, very nice !!! #2 looks a bit harsh, maybe too much contrast
#3 the skin looks a bit on the pink side, #4... amazing !!! no nit here, #5 clever pose ! baby feet look a tad dirty to me, #6 awesome, what a great baby, don't get used to it lol. looks good, the dark line in the rug in upper left is distracting, but very nicely done, #7 is heaven !
PS the gallery is very nice, I recommend everyone take a peek, I think some of the best shots are in there.

That's your *first* newborn session?? Whoa!! I wish my first session looked like that!!!

Few things about the set as a whole - the idea of the baby in the dumped over basket is great, especially with the matching hat and blanket - however, I'm not a fan of the shots with the baby in focus and the handle not in focus, it's disorienting to me trying to figure out what he's in. Granted, once I saw the "pull back" it made sense, but without it, I was confused for a second.

Also, just my opinion, but I'm not a fan of the plexiglass under the baby/baby and prop, it distracts me away from what I want to see - the baby. Just a personal taste thing, though.

http://www.bryanbargerphotography.com/Photography/Baby/14696927_kYkUw#1094590915_JyQ2d is the clear winner in my eyes, but they're all great, especially considering it was your first baby shoot.

Nicely done! I'm not going to add to the good advice above. I'll just say that you did great.
