Print purchase options limited due to file size

Hello all, I'm new to town so thanks for taking a look at my issue.

My client wants to place a print order. Here's what's going on:

1. I resized my images for fast upload
2. Client loves them and wants to place print orders now for the holidays
3. Print options under the "buy" menu are limited to 4x6. All other options state "this print size is not available b/c this image's file size is too small" (or something similar to that)
4. Knowing that the file sizes were small, I also set the "delay print order" to 5 days so I would have time to see the client's selections and then upload the proper files for print

Is my workflow off? Should I only upload full res files (5D Mii)? There are so many options to choose from in SmugMug so any tips on print workflow and proofing would be a HUGE help!!

Hi, yeah your workflow is off - we only allow ordering of prints that meet the minimum print resolutions listed here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/print-quality so if you are going to resize, do so to just above the resolution of the largest size you want to allow.

I do recommend uploading full size files, that's what I do.
