Sort Galleries by photos' date-taken

Is it possible to sort the homepage galleries by the last date-taken among the photos within them? I'm moving a backlog of older photo galleries over, but would just like them to end up in their chronological order (toward the bottom) rather than appearing at the beginning of the list because they were most recently uploaded.

For individual galleries, go to the gallery settings, Look & Feel section. Change the sort specification and sort direction.

For the galleries overall (on the home page or on category / subcategory pages), there is no sort specification by photo date taken. You will likely want to sort these by position. Your options are most recent (photos added to galleries), or by position. See Arranging galleries section of this help page - http://www.smugmug.com/help/arrange-albums.
