CHANGING my WATERMARK - a LITTLE

I want to make changes to my watermark but cannot find instructions on how to created what i want......
long ago I followed this tute: http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1690196 which is grat for my current watermark...how ever I want to add the corner to corner X that i have seen in so many others galleries.....Need instruction oh what size of background to start with and all......will be making in photoshop....

I just took a full size image from my camera and placed it on a layer in Photoshop. Then I created a watermark that looked correct and placed well (actually two one landscape and one portrait) and deleted the layer of the image. Then exported it as PNG with transparency and followed the directions in SmugMug Help at http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-watermark-protection

Worked for me and didn't require any hard math or figuring.

But it gets harder when you have more than one body with different resolutions... or if you crop at all.

But SmugMug will resize I have not had a big issue yet.
