what is the username to use on ipad?

There's confusion on terminology. Logging into my smugmug account on my PC requires my email address. Logging onto my smugmug account on my ipad requires something called 'username'.
What's my username? Is it my email address or my nickname, or my propername?
I've tried all of them and none work. I am 100% (not 99%) 100% sure that my password is correct. I even went back into my account via my PC and created a new password. No matter which "name" I use along with the password, it returns "login failure, please try again".
I've scoured the net and there are no instructions for how to login to the ipad app and what to use here, and no help on how to deal with login failures.
My ipad is definitely connected to the internet - I have tried browsing to random new websites in the browser, which works and thus proves my net connection is working. Note that I'm not connected wirelessly, I'm connected via 3G. My ISP does not block any ports that I'm aware of - certainly no other ipad apps have a problem connecting.

p.s. I have tried removing and re-installing the app as of 19 Nov 2010, so I assume it's the most recent.

I'm sorry you didn't find us so easily! We also have a contact us link on the bottom of every single public SmugMug page, and on the page that links to is not only a way to reach us at the help desk, 365days a year, but also here on Dgrin

As the username, both your email address on file and the SmugMug nickname should work.
When entering the password, can you double check that you enter the password in the exact cAsE that you created it with.
Maybe you use special characters or a space in the password? If you have special characters, let me know what kind of characters you used (don't include your full password though).
