xml maps error

Hi -
I am getting errors with the geography feature

When I do a map this, I get a pop-up window error:

there was a problem retrieving the xml data:
412: Precondition Failed

I've only geography on a few pics and most of them return this error.

Now it seems to be working but the default zoom is too high and I'm getting the "we are sorry but we don't have imagery at this zoom level..." gmaps thing. Is there a way to change the default zoom on the map?
