Both of those things are happening to me, the fact that it SAYS it's replaced, returning to the order screen and hasn't is making me nuts, not used to having to notice. I **shipped** an order earlier tonight because I didn't notice that it had not replaced.
The one I shipped earlier in the evening looks fine. The one I'm working on now had 8 items in it and I banged my head against this for 7 of them. Replace in the gallery doesn't do the blank screen, but it doesn't replace either.
I sent a note to the help desk. No more order processing for me tonight, time for some vino.
ETA: just checked the upload log, it shows ZERO uploaded today. Yet 1 order did upload correctly. There is mischief afoot!
1) is replace failing in-gallery (tools>replace) or in an order, or both?
2) are you getting any error messages?
3) if in an order, is it single photo replace (uses the olde faithful one ata time uploader) or Multiple photos replace?
4) what browser is this happening in?

Hi, Andy.
Both Firefox (primary) and Safari (alt), individual replace whether gallery replace or individual replace in the sales order screen. I am not getting the blank screen any more, it is seemingly replacing but returns to the review order screen with the thumbnails unchanged. Going to the gallery reveals it unchanged as well.
Earlier in the evening it worked fine. This is an i7 iMac running 10.6.5. I'm glad not to be on a proof delay deadline, but sure wanted to deliver these.
I just tried a replace single photo inside a gallery.
1. Image did not get replaced.
2. Filename is showing the new new name
3. Images were resized to the smaller size of the picture I sent as a replacement
Also when it "completed" it left me on blank page at upload.smugmug.com......
This is my first time uploading a whole lot of photos to a gallery. I resized the photos to mere pixels, instead of uploading the originals like I normally do.
I received an email that I have sombody who purchased 5 of my photos, and it is giving me the option to replace the photos with new ones. Well, I went and processed the new photos saved them, and then opened up the email I received and clicked on the "replace" photo button. My browser, Mozilla, says loading, but nothing is happening. After about 20 minutes, my screen turned white and said "Done"
Not really sure that it has replaced the photo or not, I looked at the email link again. I have 2 questions- 1.) will the photo thumbnail that I see change when I replace the photo? 2.) will the automatic watermark that I have smugmug set to apply be taken off before I see it? Well, I guess, I have 3 questions. Is there anyway to check on Smugmug ( my gallery) to see what the megabytes of the photos in question are, just to confirm that the new photos are indeed uploaded?
I looked on the gallery, but the old photo is still there. I'm a little paranoid that I am screwing something up, and this is my first order of I hope a lot of orders. I would rather get all the kinks out before I go nuts with orders.
I just tried replacing and it looks like it is still not working. Try again in the morning I guess. Sure would like to get this order going. Going to run up on me delay deadline pretty quick.
24+ hours of dead in the water, no matter which order, no matter which method or browser. It's in the Heroes hands. Let's hope they find it quickly, on this whole event I was trying for lightning fast service, instead of my normal poopy close-to-deadline style.

I'm hoping they get it fixed quickly as I have a proof delayed order due late tomorrow....I have had problems with replacing for the past week off and on.

I'm using the new, multi-uploader, accessed from within the gallery. When duplicates are detected and I'm asked which option I want to take, I select 'replace duplicates'. 'Verifying upload' is displayed for each image in turn followed by 'upload failed'. I've tried both Safari 5.0.3 and Chrome beta 8.0.552.208.
Strangely, I got one gallery to update earlier this evening which made me wonder if the problem had been found and fixed (though images from a different camera I think, but all uploaded JPGs are generated with LR 3.3RC), but then I encountered the same problem again! :nono
Have any of you done updates to your computer lately? I did a Windows Live Update & a Norton Anti-virus update. Just wondering if that could be the problem??? I'm in the same boat as all of you - I need it fixed ASAP!
From an order of 8, only one of which is ok because someone else had ordered it earlier in the week. The lack of cropping makes this one rather obviously not replaced.

OK Lynne, I repaired all the images in order #1879408 please try replacing again, thanks.

Got a message saying to give it a try should be fixed, oops, delay expired! Have a message in to see what we are going to do now. Sent my customer a note that their order will be screwed up. I'm sure it will all work out but it is embarrasing.

No, I have the order on hold and it won't be messed up, and we'll make you look awesome, promise! See my reply from the desk.
Is there a system wide problem still in place on replacing photos?
Just tried 3 in a test gallery using the single image replace in the gallery. All 3 failed.

Is this just happening to me?

For those at Smugmug, it is Pro Order # 1893563.
Thanks All!

Hi Andy,
Here's one I've been trying to replace.
This may help because I replaced a different picture without trouble.
