I bought this lens second-hand about a year ago. The reason I'm selling it is because I hardly use it. I use my 28-75 2.8 way more because I like the 2.8 and not so much the 4.0.
It works great, glass is pristine.
The only thing wrong with it is there is a chip on the filter threads. It can be seen in the photos below. The lens hood still snaps on securely, and a filter still screws in solid. I can't even figure out how it could have happened, and the guy I bought it from doesn't know how it happened either. There's no other scuffs or nicks on the body, so it's kind of weird. The chip does not affect performance, it's purely cosmetic.
I have the soft pouch for it and a white box (from the 5D kit), both lens caps.
Date code is UV.

Lenses I'm looking for are a Sigma 50 1.4, or a Canon 135 F2L.

the chip looks pretty bad, would you take 650?
If it won't sale I'll just keep it and enjoy a great versatile lens. No big deal.
