Category delete

Hello guys, Dan again, asking the same yearly question. Is there away to delete a album rich category with a click yet?
It's my schools year end time, all my students who are required to have 100 albums in their name sake category will soon require deleting. 30 students, 30 categories, 100 albums in each category by the time they finish. Do I, the owner of the site, still have to delete each album o n e at a time? I've been asking this each year I've owned this site. It looks that yet again, another year has gone by without any resolve. Any third party Mac software (that works) out there? Ive use some dead Firefox plugins, simply useless. P L E A S E. :-)

    The easiest way I know of to delete this many galleries is via Firefox plugin, SmugBrowser. Please write our Support Heroes ATTN: Andy and I'll ask a hero to work with you on this.

    Still no large scale delete for galleries or catagories.... honestly, why not!
    Ok, this is beyond the joke. I believe Ive been a member of Smugmug since 2008? Something close to that. The Firefox plugin is ancient and will not work with upgraded versions of the browser. Will somebody explain to me why I can delete everything or a little of what I am paying for, if i want to? Please explain this to me as if I was 10 years old to make me really get this. i am so sick and tired of having my hands tied and deleting galleries one at a time. Good grief why on earth are you so hard lined on this? It is not your problem! If people were to do a massive delete by accident, it's on them! GET OVER IT!

    Sure wish we had SmugBrowser back working. It was the easiest way to change gallery settings. You
    could pick any level and change every gallery under it.

    If you use Lightroom, the SmugMug Lightroom plugin allows you to select multiple galleries and delete them in one go.
    Another option is the Star Explorer uploader you can find in the uploading section here. It allows you to select and delete multiple galleries as well.

    File management
    Having to use (and pay for) a third party app for basic file management is beyond absurd.

    Im not understand why Smugmug didn't reply. Perhaps it is because they did years ago on the same subject. I had to swallow this jagged little pill, as Smugmug really is making it clear that we the members, the people who fund them for improvements, will still not be allowed to delete whole categories with galleries within, with a single click. So, I had to used advise from here and got Adobe Lightroom. It works fine.

    Smugmug, this was and is such a let down, and has been for years. To suggest us to use a third party software to enter your domain, pathetic. I really like Smugmug, but other than storing my students work here, what am I paying for? Rant over.
