Group photo lighting help! Please!

Later today I will be doing a group photo with 8 women from a Salon that are NOT looking forward to having their pictures taken! I can handle the schmoozing part, I need help with the lighting part! The pic below shows the equipment I have at my disposal. The shoot will be between 3-4:30 pm hopefully earlier to get ANY sort of sunlight help.

Prospective locations are;

1. Park bench (mostly shade)

2. Bridge over a canal with possibly a few boats in the background. (sun would be about a 4 o'clock position for them, 10 o'clock for me, obviously)

3. Beach with roughly the same clock positions for the sun.

4. Inside the salon (we will be taking these when we get back inside anyway, regardless of the outside images we get)

I'd love some suggestions on how you would set this up. Please don't tell me you'd use 6 SB900s or Some battery packed lighting system which I do not currently have. :D

Oh yeah, I also have an SB400 that will trigger the Bower flash slaves.
