Nice shots! I'm guessing the surface the pistols are sitting on is a couch or car seat? I like the how the white stitching draws the eye in. The two 1911's are beautiful firearms, by the way!

Yes, its a Futon. I really liked the way it looks and thought it would make for an attractive but not overwhelming backdrop.

Thanks for the compliments on the 1911's. That type of firearm is the center of my collection. Something about the lines, heritage and durability about them that give them some real sorts of personality.

Nice pictures of nice iron thumb.gif

Within my own collection, I have two Springfield 45ACP's, a Peter Stahl 5" Omega match gun, and a V-10 Ultra Compact.

Looking forward to seeing more iron!

Ooo..... do you have any pics of the Stahl? you don't see those often. My Match gun is my STI Trojan with C-More optics.

This is it before I drilled it for the mount and red dot.

    Very nice pictures and collection!
I'm especially fond of the Kimber CDP II picture. Maybe that's because it looks so much like my CDP II. :D

Two questions..........what do you mean when you said the Kimber is your most "carried"?

Have you ever seen one of these?

Sam, I think he would mean that it is the Kimber that he carries the most on his person. Most likely as in concealed carry.

    Very nice pistols Kingofthehill!!

Here are a couple in my small collection.

I was about to post a few photos of my SW .460 XVR and a night shot of the muzzle blast but didn't want to clutter up the thread with my own shots. :D

    Sam,

It is possible to get a carry permit in the PROK depending upon which county you live in. Some issue, some don't.

I know next to nothing about pistols, but there surely are some nice-looking images in this thread!
