Fox Sparrow

Hi everybody. I have not been here in a long time . Hope everyone is well.
Saw this bird at the feeder today. never seen one like it before. So I stalked it & then looked it up....I'm fairly certain it is a Fox Sparrow. The book doesn't really show them as supposed to be around here so I'm guessing its just passing through & stopped for some chow.

    yup, looks like a foxie. they're the biggest of the sparrows I think and have the cutest habit of hopping backwards to forage for food. Lovely shots...creamy detail if that makes any sense.

    thanks Al....yes I still have the bigma used it on these...don't use it as much because I'm always shooting high school sports now.

    well ric...I hope to head back home to the QC area to shoot Eagles a few times this winter on the Mississippi in between shooting basketball & wrestling.
