Fantastic! Spectating a Baja 500/1000 is on my bucket list.

Torags - Don't mean to be critical but you have given us so much great stuff that these seem kinda boring. Two straight on shots? They are done well but how about a corner shot or a jump? You got your riders in the dust shot. I understand what you are trying to do but I don't think motorcycles have the same mystique as horses. Show us some more, I know you have them. Hope this does not come across wrong, I am a fan of your work.

I agree, motorcycles are not as exciting as TTs. I had two sites to shoot and neither had jumps or turns. I didn't have time to hike out then chase the race.
That's not the end of it. After the Baja shoot I wanted to get the sunrise at the Kelso Dunes (they were on my bucket list) about 450 miles north of where I left the race. I figured I'd get there at 11pm, I got there at 1am. First time I was there, 15 miles out on a dirt road I couldn't find a secondary dirt road in the dark. Slept there, figured I could find it in daylight. I did but it wasn't passable in my Element.... fuc....k!, I couldn't even see the dunes.
450 miles home and I gotta say, it wasn't a very good couple of days.
, sounds like a memorable trip. Hey, I love the morning dove in the middle of the bikes. That's something I would do. Except I'd probably drop my settings for the dove and then shoot a bunch of blurry bikes until I figured it out. Then have the ones person wanting to buy be the blurry shot.

Better luck next time.
