I would like to enhance this photo. I don't know if a tighter crop would add anything. headscratch.gif Any suggestions would be appreciated.

G'day playe..i recon it (cropping) would certainly help to tighten it up. For me the lamp & lounge as well as that red object in the background is distracting.

I would even re-shoot it with the lamp away from his head & maybe something neutral as a background.

Well...........reshooting is always good...cropping helps as does selecting background darkening it and adding a gaussian blur and bringing the boy up a little with gentle curves:

Helps a little but sure is better to pay attention before you snap the shutter.............also take lots ...digital they're free...........you wll be sure to get a keeper thet way...........look foreward to future posts of this cute little guy...............Mereimage

    Hey Playe,

Depending on what you are after, you could do something like this.

This is a very quick and dodgy job but with a bit of effort you could get a great outcome.

Great shift to a blue background. How do you do that? Can you outline your CS steps?

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

Thanks Gus. The background is a tad busy.

    David,

Thank you so much. That's an excellent idea. I'll give it a go in PP.
