LR3 Student Edition Amazon

Hiya,
Saw LR3 Student Edition on Amazon on my iPhone App, it doesn't list requirements, but I can order it. Will I have to get it validated or something at the local college? I do have kids in grade school, I saw in another thread that others purchased it based on that criteria...any thoughts? Thanks.

    Adobe's Student Edition FAQ/Requirements

    Besides the proof needed to get the serial number, you may not transfer/sell the license to another person (unlike non-student editions).
