Off-Season MX Photos

Since the Outdoor MX season ended about 2 months ago, the off season can get a little boring for us moto junkies. Supercross season starts in January, so we have about a 3 month break to go through. Luckily, I was able to shoot one of my buddies, Topher Ingalls, for MX Affiliate online mag. Topher is a privateer in the sport, meaning that he is not backed by huge sponsors and making large amounts with a factory team. He's the working class hero in a sense, mostly paying his own way through professional racing. He is just waiting to catch that break that he needs and hopefully it will come during this upcoming Supercross season. Here are a few photos that I captured of him for the mag and a few others that I've just taken for the sake of getting out there and flexing the trigger finger again. Hope you enjoy. C&C is welcome.

Terrific set of images! Really nice work - they are all very good, but I think #12 might be my favorite, you can really see the intensity in his eyes. thumb.gif

Nice to see! For us waiting for the snow to come these shots are a welcome sight! I love No.5! I can never get mine to work so I always dig the ones that do work! HA! Also, No.14 - love the fact he is looking at the camera! 12... If the guy wasnt standing there it would have made the list of favs! But... I know you cant always get people out of your shots.

Nice captures, but maybe a little slower SS, and a little more wheel blur, to show motion,

Sweet! I'll be looking for them! I don't know if you remember, but I met you at Pala actually. I was up on that mound with the telephone pole next to the very first tabletop from the start. I called you to come up and snap some photos from there. I was wearing an Atlanta Braves hat.

Yea, I already knew who you were then. I couldn't remember your name, but I remembered your screen name. Thanks again for the hand up that crazy hill. If that dang telephone pole hadn't been there, we could have gotten some killer shots right there. I didn't end up getting what I was hoping for there.

Well then. Next time you'll know to bring the chain saw rolleyes1.gif

This was just what I needed to see thumb.gif

I like them all. That said, my favorite is #5. #1 and #7 are pretty cool too. #7 because I know if I did that, I'm not really sure where I'd land ne_nau.gif

Thanks for sharing a great set of MX pix! Can't wait for SX season to start clap.gif
