Couple of soggy macros - suprised there are still some margeurite flowers in the neighbour's garden.

I don't usually try to avoid it but you can reduce it a bit by moving the flash head to a much wider angle away from the camera lens. Mine is nrmally right next to the end of the lens but in the shot below I folded the flash on it's ball head in the opposite direction away from the lens.
