I was thrilled to be able to photograph this Female Grackle with a Bald Eagle as a backdrop. I was able to create few images and prayed that both would give me a good eye contact! They did!

This one while camping last weekend.

Canon 7D, 500mm L @ f/22, 1/100 sec, Manual exposure, Almost Full Frame, Hand held!

Beautiful and the comp is amazing. Even more amazing is 500mm @ 1/100, handheld. Why f22?

To be able to define the Eagle as much as possible. I have few images at f/8 and the Eagle was completely out of focus. You couldn't tell it was an Eagle!
