Gotta put down the camera

Short story is I've had some tingling in my right hand for almost two weeks now. Typing has been frustrating. And this weekend found I can't reliably locate the shutter button by touch alone. Very disturbing. Yesterday the doc put me into a wrist brace, and if things don't improve I have a neurologists appoint, ment in early January. Until then I take things easy and I'm not doing any serious photography in the mean time. This really sucks.

Bill I am sorry....sounds like ulnar nerve damage ...it really sux ... I have probs in both my arms from the years of
machining and probably from all the crazy stuff I did growing up which caused me to land on my forearms.....the
ulnar is the largest unprotected nerve in the body andf I know I abused it a lot growing up....
Good Luck ....prayers being said for you.

I've had something similar happen on a few occasions myself. It was cause by too much computer time (I work on the computer). Try switching the hand that you use for the mouse. So in my case that meant operating the mouse with my left hand. For me it isn't as difficult a transition as it sounds, and in a week or two my symptoms cleared up. Good luck, Bill!
