Finally finished their edits and they're loving them!

Thought I'd show you guys also. Not really expecting anyone to go through 29 pix and give me C&C for them. I know some will like some and some will frown on some. But either way, just wanted to show you my e-session photos of Rico & Leah. But boy oh boy, did Rico have a hard time keeping his eyes open!

They'll be putting them up on their website http://www.leahandrico.com/Welcome/wedding.html

Thanks! I have tons more shots and I should have really just posted the best ones. I posted more than I should have. I found that out in another forum I join. #5 and #6 have to be the worst out of them all :( But I have a better version of that

Yeah the processing on 5 & 6 is kinda scary. I'm glad they straightened you out on it over there. lol
But overall, really nice stuff here.

4, 8 , 10, and 16 are a few of my faves. Although 4 is very basic, it's a super nice version of basic. I just like the way it looks. 28 is a really cute ring shot. Love it. Well done.

17 and 28 are the winners of the bunch for me.

I love the BG in 14. They are wearing such light clothing they pop well. 22 and 26 are really nice too.

Overall I think you did a great job, watch out for 8x10 crops, some of them are pretty tight and wouldn't print in that ratio.

I rarely use flash outdoors but his deep eye sockets are one example of when a bit of fill flash can brighten those eyes up, like in #1. In post, I would definitely mask in some brightness or exposure to lift the shadows. In the future, a flash at -2 or -3 would have helped without changing your overall look.

Hey Momo, this is a nice set. My biggest concern is that the horizons are off on many of these. 12 and 13 are fine however... it is mostly the little 5 and 10 degree tilts that are out of place. This is probably most obvious by the gazebo. I also don't care for the angle in 20. That can be a tough one, especially if they are looking down at you. I would say #17 is my fave.

Thanks guys! You guys are great and great advices! I have fixed the tilt with #7 and #8 although they were intentional. Believe me I'm not that bad w/ horizons hahaha But after looking at them again I suppose they do not work for the composition. Especially #8.

I want to do something more creative next time. Perhaps take the couple to DC and have them go to a diner and get creative with flash and slow shutter speed.

If it's my monitor then disregard this post, but I feel that he looks somewhat pale in a lot of the shots. I like my images a little on the warm side, but you might have to do some masking. I think with her skin tone, she would be too warm if you were to do the whole image. Just my 2 cents worth. :B

    Thank you Diva :)
Aspecto, you are absolutely correct! It has a lot to do with my poor editing as well. I will see if I can fix those certain shots. I think one of the issue I had was I used my flash on camera (580EX) so when I tilted the camera to take portrait shots, he was lit up more so some of the shots you will see it's lit more on the left than right. I've learned a few tricks since then so I will go practice on Saturday if weather permits. With flash off camera. I will post result in the "people" section for that.

I thought the lighting was pretty good. Just needs a little warming. In camera raw of photoshop, its easy. I little slide of the temperature and voila. But like I said earlier, if you warm it too much then you'll have to mask it so she doesn't get too warm. :D

I got you. I will play w/ them soon. I am on the verge of making my website (along with doing 50 million other things) so I will edit them much better and pick out ONLY 5-10 good ones out of them and post there.

This looks like Brookside, if it is and you didn't hit the Zen side...well you missed the best part. I like most of it, not the low angle stuff...you gave them a lot of looks.

Hey it is! I am from NOVA and never really went there except for that day. They're strict about photography and give you an hour to shoot. Although we overstayed by half hour. Come spring, we'll go there and check it out for future clients.

This is such a great set, very nice vibrant colors (with the exception of 5 and 6 with others have already pointed out to you). Overall great set, I can tell they must have been a lot of fun to work with based on their relaxed demeanors in the photos!

I learned one thing! When background is light and subject is wearing light clothes, not to open shutter wide open. I should have shot them at f 4-5.6 and it have looked sharper. Next time!
