nice job under the circumstances ... you've learned that fast glass for available light, and good lighting (external flash) are wedding photog's friends :D

Dude .GO to your support group and say FILL FLASH FILL FLASH FILL FLASH................yes its a pain to carry, I too avoided it for a long time but I finally gave in and my photos have never looked better, now I feel naked without it. I just can't get the quality without it. Yes an 85 1.8 would help but indoors you'll need high iso(which is ok if you have Noise Ninja or comp. program), and you'll still have shadows to deal with...........Pathfinder and I just shot a wedding and outdoors even with 3 flashes (2 slaved) we still had problems with controlling range of contrast.......... Now we want you to get a good ext flash for your dslr and return with new shots, we look forward to your future posts.................clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif....................Mereimage

(remember for a lot of us here, esp me I'm happy if I have 40-50% keepers, shows I'm improving it used to be 10% not to long ago-and sometimes still is)

But I agree, you need a good flash. I did a wedding for friends of mine and the guy BOUGHT a camera (and flash on my advice) especially for the occasion (and let me use it !! That's how I 'tested' the Nikon D70 before buying it myself <grin>). I borrow one for the occasions like these ! :):
