Red Tailed Hawk on Police Car

This red tailed hawk was atop of an unmarked police car in Washington, DC. I was surprised I was able to get close to him.

    Yeah, I figured this was the cop's trained hawk. Eye in the sky, death from above, all very useful for a police officer! :D

    I hear the Alaska State Trooper's version is an Eagle. Apparently, they blend in with the surroundings much better lol3.gif
