Watermarking Not Working

Ok well, the default watermarking is working. I upload a shot to one of my galleries, and it gets the default - however:

When I find a shot where the default watermark doesnt show up so well on, I try to use the 'many photos' option under tools, and select watermarking. There I select the proper watermark (I have 8 for various scenarios) and click on the save/submit button. I get the dialog saying to wait, and I do - but often the changes just never happen. I contacted support, and got a message back saying to clear my browser cache - and I have many times (I'm a network guy by profession - I'm certain I'm doing that correctly) but often it just makes no difference. Sometimes I come across a photo where I cant even remove the watermark. It's like it's stuck.

What gives? I have 450 images to sift through and this is making it mind-numbingly difficult.

Is there some other way to make this work properly, or even, a bit better?

BTW - I re-read just now - I also select the photos I want to watermark when trying to apply a new watermark.

Can it be that it can take hours or days sometimes for the system to update a photo and I'm just not waiting long enough?

    Hi RB,

Yes, depending on system load, it can take hours, but usually not days. Can you send us a link to one of your photos that's being stubborn, and either won't watermark, or won't remove the watermark? We can check to see if it's in the queue awaiting the change, or if something is amiss. Also, remember that watermarking requires a photo whose longest side is greater than 800px.

If you're more comfortable, send a link to a photo to our help desk if you'd prefer not to have it public.
