Shooting horses in show jumping competition at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington Ky last month. This is Brazil's Alvaro Miranda Ad Ashleigh riding Drossel Dan. Shot with Canon EOS-1D Mark IV with EF400mm f/2.8L IS USM.

    That's a very nice picture! Love the implied connection between the horse and rider.

    Ha! Looks like the horse put covers over his ears, he didn't want to hear him...

    Thanks for your kind words!
    I guess the ear socks looks funny, however they actually serve a purpose, they stuff cotton ear plugs in the ears of the horses and these "ear socks" hold in the ear plugs and actually muffle out the noise as to not spook the horse.
