I need to get out and about more at first light. These are, of course, wonderful. The frozen drops at the top are just amazing.
Also love number 5, the crystals are so clearly defined. Fabulous.

Edit: My 5 year old has just described number 1 as a frozen flower...she spotted how the ice has frozen in layers forming "petals" of ice. Fantastic.

Brian, these are great to just look at, you know? I just like looking at them. You obviously nailed the DOF and sharpness and captured the feel of what frost is all about. Jolly good ... this is a good example of how to do it. I think after seeing some of your work I've been encouraged to throw out a lot of stuff I've captured that really didn't have the sharpness or the DOF mastered. It takes some learnin'. It takes a lot of mistakes and pain. It can be done though, and there is no mistaking it in your shots.

Thanks Pablito for the comments - a bit easier when things are not moving ! These shots are all focus stacked one way or another for greater DOF
