Using Remote Flash

I have been attempting to get a better knowledge of using my remote flash, so tonight I let the kid's set up the Christmas tree. I wanted to use the tree as my background, I wanted to get some hair highlight to try to give the photo depth. I know people here said that kid's should just be kid's and not to try to pose them. My daughter really loves to show off in front of the camera. So here is what I came up with. C and C always welcomed. Thanks for your input.
