"No galleries found"....just for starters...

It seems since smugmug has revamped the loaders, over and over, some things just don't work like they use to for me. No matter what PC I'm on when I log into my site and first click on a gallery I go to a page that says no galleris found. If I hit the refresh button in my PC tool bar the galleries show up....this happens everytime and is a real pain in the butt.

When I load photos there used to be a "return to gallery" button, that button has been replaced with "close". Nothing happens when I click on close. If I click the red x nothing happens either. I have to exit the page and come back via my home page....this too is a royal pain.

I'm all for changes, but positive ones, not ones that cause me extra steps to do what I use to do before, without issue, before the "improvements". It seems like the loader changed it's style 4-5 times in a months time, and in the end it was worse than it was before the changes.

I can't believe I'm the only one having these issues.....anyone? :dunno

    The first issue is that you are not fully logged in, with cookie set, when you hit the gallery page. Typically, go to your homepage, and refresh the browser, so that you're fully and completely logged in.


    2nd issue, what uploader are you using and can you please list out exact steps to reproduce the behavior you're describing? Thanks!

    I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "fully logged in", it didn't used to do this, and I'm not doing anything different than before.

    As for the loader, it's this one....

    I click on the close button and nothing happens, well the button lightens it's color, but that's it. I try the red x, nothing happens. The close button used to say return to gallery....that worked. This however doesn't. ne_nau.gif

    That's a bug and it will be fixed.
