Egyptian Goose Portrait - S.E Florida
While visiting family members in Ft. Lauderdale this long weekend, I went to Wako near Delray Beach this morning but left early because there wasn't much going on besides the same old, same old Cormorants, Blue Herons and Egrets (nothing wrong with that :lol) So I decided to visit another location I used to go to years ago but I totally forgot all about it.
To my surprise, there were about 25 of these Egyptian Goose hanging out.
The white background is actually water from the pond. I don't think they will be around much longer.
I posted a picture on how I created this image on my Facebook (not the best technique) but did the trick
Going back tomorrow for more.
Editing from laptop.
Canon 7D, 500mm L @ f/5.6, 580EX II with Better Beamer, Car as blind, Manual exposure, Almost full frame.
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
Thanks!

Nicely captured Maxis. We'll give you a reprieve on the colors, contrast, brightness etc. etc. working from a laptop. My laptop is worthless and makes every image look like a bad Techna-color dream out of the 60's.
Cheers
