It's been ages since I have posted anything . . . and about the same length of time since I have shot anything. Life has been getting in the way, but I am hoping to get out tomorrow and get some shots in. To get myself energized, I thought I'd post a few previous shots here and ask for some comments. Thanks for looking!

2. Another from my outing with Denise--we both stopped suddenly when we saw this view!

4. Poppies in Alaska--I just held the camera beneath the flowers and pressed the shutter :rofl

I like the color and composition on #1, 2, and 4. thumb.gif #3 lacks some "appeal" to me. I'd probably use a wide angle lens, shoot closer to the front of the old car to have some more "drama" to it. Just a suggestion, hope I did not offend you.

    Hey Lauren,

    How the heck are ya'?

I like the shots, especially the first one and the old car that includes the roadside context.

Don't make us wait this long again to get to view your work rolleyes1.gif

    Hi Lauren,

It's really great to see you out and around. I like all these shots. I particularly like your subtle approach to the HDR shot.

    Welcome back,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks for the C&C and, most especially, the warm welcome back! I have missed everyone here. I'll try to get busy shooting so I have some things to offer up.

    Cheers,
    Lauren
