I just read your post on using flash, looks like I'm going to have to break down and buy a flash, it really makes a difference! I always thought people used those ring flashes with macro and I never liked the flat look but your single flash with diffuser works great.

good composition, flash is usually of benefit the higher magnification you use. natural light better for full views of dragons:D
