love the composition, nice confluence of elements. you know i dig the wide angle!
there's evidence of exposure adjustment around the main bridge though - you, the photoshop master, i know you can do better
Thanks for the critique, Andy. I didn't see the artifacts around the bridge, but I do now. I tried again. Does it look better? There is sort of a fine line between catching the clouds in the upper left and letting the retouching show around the bridge. (At least with my current workflow.)

*much* better and fwiw, they weren't artifacts - they were evidence of exposure adjustments ... there's a big difference imo. the second version is much better.
Under the Rt 2 bridge over the Charles, in Boston.
Interesting composition. I'd add a bit of 'more movement' to the man (it can be done in PP)
Did you get my answeres to your questions 'bout portraits?

awesome idea, yuri. yes - rutt - a bit of motion blur applied on an adjustment layer, then masked away, and paint back over the runner. tasty.

Thanks for your answers about the portraits. Thought I PM'ed you or something, but perhaps I had a senior moment. Good suggestion about this image. Thanks.
I tried out Yuri's suggestion. It's not really the kind of PP I'm comfortable with and perhaps I wasn't brave enough or to brave or something. It's pretty subtle. There already was some real motion blur, especially his right foot. I reasoned that his left foot should have almost none since it's on the ground....

What do you guys think?
Now I like it - this 'thing' (shirt) in his hand, his left leg - all are moving now!
Great!
