Took this a while back while in Austin for the weekend, then noticed that the cover of the Austin phonebook was almost the exact same shot.

    The starbursts are great, but the buildings don't seem to be very sharp, which I think is important for this sort of pic. Were you using a tripod?

    Yes I was, but I was shooting on a Fuji s9000 wich has ALOT of grain even with the lower ISO's and it was a 30 second exposure I beleive so yeh I am not surprised that it isnt as sharp as say my nikon d90

    Was that sometime about a year ago? The building on the left only does the red and green around the holidays IIRC.

    A part of the reason you might have focus issues is the road surface. A lot of cars going by does shake the roadbed and bridge just a little :)

    HAHA yeah this photo was around Christmas time but it was like 4 years or so ago I was visiting my girlfriend (now ex) but yeh...And yeh ian I would imagine that may have affected the camera a bit if I remember correctly it was pretty windy too..I am sure my camera strap was flailing around haha
