On my next trip I think I might hire one to model early in the morning before the crowds. I think this could be improved with a tighter crop. Head and shoulders.

I'm going to disagree with the above as I like to see the whole costume...great shot!

Looks like fun. I'm going to take both sides on the crop suggestions. I think tighter would be good as well as seeing something wide to get the entire costume. What about cloning out the vertical poles above her head?

Thank you all for the comments. Yes the tight shot maybe would be better but during the Venetian Carnival, the dress is most important.

Another version - another shoot. What do you think about this one - edited in Apple Aperture 3 - the above was edited Adobe Lightroom 3. For some reason Apple wins for me - what do you think?
