"Badlands you gotta live it every day" - Springsteen
This past weekend Davev and I put in 1,400 miles on our trip to Badlands National Park. We had pockets of good light from time to time but most of it was wasted on the drive there and back home. :-(
Here's a few shots from the trip.

What's with the bobcat? It looks like it's two different colors. Is it something to do with age or seasonal coat thing?
Worth the effort!

Love that you've got a picture of a porcupine. That's something I've not seen very often!
Awesome set, Adam. Makes me want to head out to Badlands myself!

Thanks Mitchell. It was nice to get back to shooting landscape and wildlife.
Thank you Lindiwe!! We spotted 5 different porcupines on the trip.
Thank you. This time of the year you practically have the park to yourself.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

They are all lovely shots, but I'm particularly intrigued by the pale ground squirrel.

Thank you Harry. It looks like I'll be in your neighborhood later this month. Hopefully, I'll be able to come away with some bird and gator shots on the trip.
Thanks Bradford!! Looks like I might me in your area next month. Are you up for chasing down some buggies?
Thank you Emily!! It's actually a white prairie dog.

Thank you Dennis!!
Thank you Bob. Davev and took off on "Black Friday" and came home on Sunday. I believe we put in 1400+ miles for the whole trip.
Thank you Korandoke!!
Thank you. I like the shot but with the snow below him it makes it tough to see the height of the jump.
