Aftermarket AC Adapters?

Does anyone make aftermarket AC adapters for Nikons?

I'm choking on $90 for an AC adapter. I think that's a little ridiculous.

Thanks.

You don't say which camera this would be for.

    Sorry - Nikon D90.

Figured if there was an aftermarket mfg, they'd be making for all brands.

I used to use a/c power for my Nikons. Then their battery performance improved so much it seemed unnecessary. For what purpose do you need a/c power? Wouldn't extra EN-el3s be a heck of a lot less expensive, without the danger of a trip-wire, er . . . power cord? headscratch.gif

Unless you're going to be leaving your camera unattended for hundreds of intervalometer shots, I think a/c power is grossly overrated.

I don't see any ready cheap replacements but both B&H and Adorama are cheaper than the price you quoted:

I think that ~$75 is reasonable if you need the part and if the AC adapter provides proper voltage and power management to protect your $800+ camera investment.
