Yea, I really like the first composition, great idea to let the palms blur, most people would be stomping down to f22 to try and get it all crisp. I also like the complimentary colors you have although I do think you could desaturate just a bit, at least on my monitor things are a bit oversat. I also like your second image, you must have been using a long lens?

thanks for the nice comment - as far as the saturation goes, the only thing done to that capture was a level adjustment - matter of fact i didn't even touch the raw file and just did that adjustment on the jpg. I'll have another look at the original. oh, and yes, i was shooting with my 80-200 2.8
All great, but I especially like #3 and #4--love the pool or pond, with palm trees and the bright sunset colors in the sky. But then #5 is great too--looks like the sun is melting at the horizon. Hard to choose! Best, Pam

Thank you Alvin - these are all sunrises as our place faced east on the sea of cortez.. but next trip i will def make a trip over to lands end and get the sunset off the pacific side.
