I love this family, they gave me my first "paying" job. He ( anti bug ) sprayed my house for free for 2 months in return for a session 2 years ago.

Although we live in Arizona the oldest son is set on being a professional surfer when he grows up...:rofl

Glad to know I'm not the only one that accepts trades for shoots -- or gives them out as gifts.

Haven't we had that discussion before and it opened a HUGE can of worms???

    Anyway... adorable shot!!

Well in this case it was a good thing, I wasn't very good when I did it, and it continues to bring me new business two years later !!

Both of the eshoots I've done have been gifst - for this most recent one I can't go to the (wayyyy out of state) wedding, so told them I'd be delighted to do pictures if they wanted some. thumb.gif

Trudy, this is hilarious - your young surfer is fun!

Because my non dgrin BF did not get it, I want to post that the little boy is NOT surfing, he is falling off of his perch on the boulder,he was not injured, but it sure looks like he is surfing and it reminded me of those silly Laughing.gifCAT photos where you get to make up silly captions.

    Ha! Glad he's ok.

By the way, Trudy, been meaning to ask: how do you do these lovely frames+edges you always have on your photos? I really like them.

That's the best kind, we all have to start somewhere, right?

Newborn sessions make GREAT baby gifts, especially if they're expecting their first born. A friend of mine is due in February and her hubby is a firefighter, I have plans for that princess to go in her daddy's hat - or boots - or both! When I mentioned I was giving her a shoot, she was elated "Can I get some maternity shots, too?" Well, of COURSE!!

Can't wait to play with that Little Miss when she gets here.

Thanks DM, these are my newest toys from Kevin Kubota called Sloppy Borders. I have an addiction, this is in that category! The best part about these is the very very easy way they are to use.
