Anyone ever tried freelensing? Interesting concept, and a search here turned up no threads, so I thought I would start one.

Some articles:

Another place I frequent has made it part of our monthly challenge for December. I'd never tried it, so I went out to a tree in the parking lot at work and snapped a couple. It will take some practice, but sort of like my little 50mmnormal project, I like limiting and freeing challenges. :)

The first images I made with my lens detached... not spectacular, but certainly interesting...:

So... give it a try and post your results! Those of you with tilt-shift lenses, well, that's cheating. :rofl

Interesting. I've never heard of that but I will give it a shot. I do wonder why they say a 50mm or higher lens.

I'm using film so it may be a while until I post anything.

The canon 50 1.8 is great for this. You can reverse it and get some fairly good macro shots.
