First off, I'd like to say thank you to everybody that entered or made a comment on some of the shots.

Getting right into it, here are my favorites.

This is a very powerful and sad image. However, I wish the chain wasn't cut off and put the focus on "the death of your husband" instead of the date.

    Very moving photo. I am going to disagree about the focus on the date. I think the idea of this person dying on Christmas Eve so far from home is especially sad. Well done.
